Loft Insulation
A simple way to stop heat escaping through the roof, usually as part of a fabric-first package.
Loft, in plain English
Loft insulation lays insulation in the roof space so heat stays in the rooms below instead of escaping through the top of the house.

What you get from doing it properly
Warmer upstairs rooms and bedrooms.
Less heat wasted through the roof.
A quick fabric win that pairs cleanly with external wall insulation.
Check what is up there, then insulate it properly.
Loft insulation is usually the quickest fabric job. We still check hatches, tanks, pipes and electrics before we lay anything.
Time on site
Typically 1 day on a house
A clear loft with a decent hatch is often done in a day. Stored belongings, awkward access or extra boarding can add a second day.
- 01
We check the loft
Existing insulation, hatch, storage, tanks, pipes and electrics. We tell you what needs moving before the install day.
- 02
Insulate to the right depth
Laid to current standards, with tanks and pipes protected, not a rushed roll dumped over the joists.
- 03
Leave it tidy
The loft is left workable. You still have a hatch and a way to use the space, not a sealed void.
Installed under PAS 2030
Loft insulation is a PAS 2030 measure. We install it to that standard, inside the same quality process as the rest of the fabric work.

PAS 2030 / 2035
The install and coordination standard for loft insulation on retrofit jobs, including occupied homes.

TrustMark
The government-endorsed quality framework we lodge the work against.
